Sakae Sushi@AEON Bukit Tinggi, Klang
As usual my kids will run inside Lavendar bakery shop to buy their favourite breads; which are hotdogbread, Tai Yang Ping,Tuna bread, Egg Loaf, Banana Cakes and etcc.....
We headed to Sakae Sushi after that and the place is quite crowded but luckily we managed to find a place. My kids dont eat sushi but they like the teriyaki salmon and chicken. But i found the chicken a bit salty to my taste. We also ordered 2 salmon and lobster handrolls with 1 fried soba and there is nothing to shout about!
Overall it was quite a satisfactory dinner but a bit pricey. Total damages is RM58+. Thanks my dear hubby and lovely sons for the dinner! (actually my hubby is paying on behalf of my kids to celebrate Mother's Day). Hehehe...

Kedai Kopi Taman Eng Ann@Klang
This stall is at the front of the shop and we can easily found it you will see alot of people queing to buy their steamed chicken with char siew. The steamed chicken was very smooth and the rice is very fragrants with the ginger and margerines.
The chilly is very nice to eat with as it is very spicy and the chicken soup was perfect as it was cooked since 6am............

Newton Food Courts, Malacca
There are many stalls which serve local foods such as porridge, wan tan mee, curry fish head and etc... and we decided to try their popiah, chee cheong fun aka HK style, claypot chicken rice and Malacca fried oyster omelette....
The portion of the popiah is quite generous but taste wise are not comparable with the stall i have tried in Kepong morning market, the chee cheong fun version is quite unique as the skin is make with eggs. The fried oyster omelette is very nice with the juicy and succulent oysters inside and the portion is quite generous at the price of RM10.00. Dad and hubby give a big thumb up for both foods!
But the claypot chicken rice is a bit disappointed. The rice used is very small and nothing special on it.

Restaurant Hakka Food Fair, Klang
I dont know what to have for lunch today and i was around Taman Eng Ann area. I round the place few times and found this restaurant and tell myself to give it a try.
A Hakka family-run concern, it is famous for its Hakka Mee and Yong Tau Foo. The Yong Tau Foo is served in clear tasty soup but the chilli sauce is nothing much to shout about. The soup here does not bear the taste of salted fish which is the signature ingredient for Hakka Yong Tau Foo.
However, the Hakka Mee is excellent – the handmade noodles are soft and springy, and peppered with tasty minced pork and a couple of fish balls. Besides the minced meat, you can choose from their selection of toppings such as pig trotters, mushroom with chicken feet, spicy prawns and the unique fried fish wantan.

Old Town White Coffee@Malacca
Nothing much special about this place except it is very long with 2 storey buildings, occupied by a lot of small shops and eateries. For me, i found the planning of the shops are very messy and not well organised. The signboard are not clear and no proper directions on the shops. We round and round the same place like crazy...
At last, we ended up at Old Town White Coffee for late lunch. We ordered, Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Hainan Chicken Chop Rice and Kuey Teow soup. The curry laksa is lack of lemak compared to KL version, the Hainan Chicken Chop is tasty and my children love the kuey teow soup very much.
Tow Kee Hakka Noodles@Seremban
My mum and dad are nagging on me why i am introducing this kind of restaurant to them. I told them that this restaurant is famous for their Hakka mee but they are reluctants to even give a try.....
Fung Keow Bah Kut Teh Restaurant@Klang
Since he is so free today, i ask him to joint me for quick lunch at Taman Rashna for bah kut teh at Fung Keow Restaurant.
During lunch time, this restaurant was not very packed compared to their neighbour, Teluk Pulai Bah Kut Teh which is fully packed until have to queue for table. We ordered a pot of claypot bah kut teh with char kuey, teas and rice for two.
The soup was very tasty, typical klang style, rich in flavor and slightly thicker and the meat comes in huge chunks, and lots of them.
Restaurant Pan Heong@Batu Caves
Our first stop is at Restaurant Pan Heong at Batu Caves, which is famous with their porridge, cantonese style kuey tiow (wat tan hor), fried mamak style noodles and fried pork belly.
The place was so packed event in the early morning of weekend but we still managed to get a seat. Once seated, we proceed to order their famous dished and there are 'sang yu' porridge, wat tan hor, fried mamak noodles and fried pork belly with soya beans drink.
The service are super fast and our wat tan hor reached us within 5-10 minutes, follow with porridge and the rest... The wat tan hor is superb tasty but mum and dad comments that their wat tan soup is not enough to cover the kuey keow and therefore make it too thicky. But my childrens like the wat tan hor very much.
As for the 'Sang Yu' porridge, it was extremely smooth and tasty. Dad give a thumb up! Mum likes the mamak noodles and the pork belly. The pork belly is very crisy and tasty to go along with the chili sauce.
Total damages for the breakfast is RM59.
Hiong Kee Hainan Chicken Rice Restaurant-@Bukit Tinggi Klang
Suddenly i recalled there is one restaurant, opposite Giant Bukit Tinggi selling hainan chicken rice. Hence i immediately proposed to my hubby and childrens to go Hiong Kee Restaurant for breakfast.
When we reached there, the tables are not fully packed and we immediately get a place to sit down. Hubby ordered 1/2 portion of steamed chicken with char siew and drinks. My childrens are having wan tan noodles with rice as well.
The service is slow as we need to wait around 15 minutes for the wan tan noodles.
The steamed chicken served was nice with their spicy chillly, blended with ginger and vinegar. Nothing special about the char siew and wan tan noodles.
Overall it was a satisfactory breakfast.

Kwong Woh Tong
After that, we decided to have the herbal jelly or gwei ling go at Koong Woh Tong near to the Jusco supermarket. The herbal tea shop was originated from China and has branches in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia and each outlet has the same design, where two big "gold" containers are placed in front with the two types of herbal tea. There are two kinds of herbal tea served: a sweet and really bitter one and normally we opted for sweet one! The herbal tea is cooked offside and they deliver the tea in large metal containers which the ladies manning the stall will distribute to these containers to keep warm.
Besides herbal tea, they also serve herbal jelly known as gwei ling go in ceramic pots (RM6 for a small one and RM9 for big one). When you order the jelly, they will serve it with a teapot filled with a diluted honey syrup. It needs to be diluted for you to mix it with the bitter jelly. This version is not too bitter and nice as it is chilled. You can also opt to have it warm. Gwei ling go is said to be made from turtle shell which is grinded to a powder hence the name gwei which is cantonese for tortoise. The jelly also has numerous herbs and is said to help prevent sickness and relieve body heat.
We ordered 2 big bowl and 1 small bowl of herbally jelly to share but my kids dont like it at all as they claimed it was very bitter even we put alot of sugar for them. Then me and my hubby have to finished it!
