I dont know what to have for lunch today and i was around Taman Eng Ann area. I round the place few times and found this restaurant and tell myself to give it a try.
A Hakka family-run concern, it is famous for its Hakka Mee and Yong Tau Foo. The Yong Tau Foo is served in clear tasty soup but the chilli sauce is nothing much to shout about. The soup here does not bear the taste of salted fish which is the signature ingredient for Hakka Yong Tau Foo.
However, the Hakka Mee is excellent – the handmade noodles are soft and springy, and peppered with tasty minced pork and a couple of fish balls. Besides the minced meat, you can choose from their selection of toppings such as pig trotters, mushroom with chicken feet, spicy prawns and the unique fried fish wantan.
