Newton Food Courts, Malacca

Before we heading back to KL, we dropped by at this nicely decorated foodcourts, Newton Food Courts.

There are many stalls which serve local foods such as porridge, wan tan mee, curry fish head and etc... and we decided to try their popiah, chee cheong fun aka HK style, claypot chicken rice and Malacca fried oyster omelette....

The portion of the popiah is quite generous but taste wise are not comparable with the stall i have tried in Kepong morning market, the chee cheong fun version is quite unique as the skin is make with eggs. The fried oyster omelette is very nice with the juicy and succulent oysters inside and the portion is quite generous at the price of RM10.00. Dad and hubby give a big thumb up for both foods!

But the claypot chicken rice is a bit disappointed. The rice used is very small and nothing special on it.
